Google has many ways of communicating with its users. Some, like announcements embedded on the home page or at the top of any Google account page, are frequently seen by every kind of user. Others, however, are designed for more exclusive audiences. The Google Webmaster videos and specialized blogs, like the Google Mobile blog, are excellent examples of this. However, for most users interested in keeping tabs on the company, the most common method is simply staying updated with Google’s official blog.

On that bloglast year (2010), there were 454 posts, which saw a total of 24,768,052 unique visitors, showing a strong increase in both the number of posts and the attention they’re receiving. However, not all posts were created equal. While the top post (Google’s April Fools’ joke, where they made fun of a publicity stunt from the city of Topeka, Kansas) saw over 10 million unique views, the second most popular saw about 900,000. Google gives us the full tally of the 2010 posts that have been visited most. Here are the top five:

2. A New Approach to China.

3. Introducing Google Chrome OS.
