What are your plans for October?

Next month I will be traveling a decent amount because there are some great online marketing conferences that are taking place.

My first stop for the month will be to SMX Social Media on 16th and 17th. If you wanted to learn about social media and social networking this is the conference to go to because industry experts as well as the founders from a few of these social sites will be speaking. Plus the day before the conference BOTW and Internet Marketers of New York will be throwing a charity party at:

Town Tavern
3rd St and 6th Ave
Monday Oct 15th
7pm - 10PM

BOTW and the Internet Marketers of New York are generously providing an open bar, but in exchange they are asking everyone to contribute $40 at the door for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.

My last stop for the month is in Virginia at the Darden Business School. This conference is going to be held from October 21st to the 24th and it is one of the best conferences to attend if you are looking to interact with high-level executives from big companies. Other than the networking, you will learn all about online marketing as well the latest trends in the industry such as social media.

Lastly if you are looking for a marketing event to attend in November, the AMA is throwing an event in Chicago on the 2nd. If you haven't been to an AMA event before, I highly recommend checking it out.

I am going to SMX Mobile and Local on October 1st in Denver.

It's my first search conference, but I already planning to going to (and speaking at) many, many more.

I'm hyper-passionate about search, I'm incredibly stimulated by people on the same wavelength who speak the same language.. and I looove to party.

Man, I saw the darden thing and thought "thats a great excuse to go back to my alma mater" then i saw the $4k price for registration. :-( Charlottesville is a beautiful town though, make sure you check out the corner section at night.

I will also be at the SMX Local & Mobile and look forward to learning more about what is to come in these fields. I should also be at the Social conference in New York and it sounds like there will be a LOT of people there.
