Rush Hour - The Industry Revolts on Digg

This week on Rush Hour Cshel and Cameron discuss a big story where a story was removed the main page of Digg and the poster was banned after his story had 16,000 Diggs. The story removal lead to an uproar from the community. They talk about the addiction of posting on Digg and the hope that their story will make the home page. They also explore other social media site alternatives to use including Reddit, Delicious and StumbleUpon. Finally, Brent Csutoras from Innerchange Magazine chimes in with Carolyn and Cameron.

Hey Neil - You prolly have a lot of pull over at webmasterradio...You might want to let them know that the majority of their feeds are not updating correctly. I subscribe to about 6 of them via itunes and most havent been updated since mid-April. One of the guys in the chatroom said that they were switching delivery systems which might explain it. Just thought I'd let you know. Keep up the great show. Nick http://www.adgridwork.com | free advertising for blogs

Hey Neil (and Muhammad),

Just wondering if I could get your guys' expert opinion on the current state of Digg (a week after the turmoil)? I use Digg on a regular basis, but I am not a power user. I'd be interested to hear what the current atmosphere is like and what the short-term future looks like.

Much appreciated.

Cheers, Aidan
