Everyone's Got an Accent
If you think about it everyone in this world has an accent, it might be one that you are used to or it could be one that you have never heard before. The great thing about accents is that they can be funny which means that they can help create a memorable commercial.

After watching the commercial I thought the same thing! It is a sad realization when you automatically suspect that everything is linkbait. Neil, you wouldn't do that to us, would you? ;)

I used to be an English teacher abroad and would always try and drill this into the minds of my students. They'd work extra hard at trying to speak like an "American" , but there is no American accent.
One thing I've learned about living in a more diverse area now than my hometown is that people not only take pride in their own accents, but respect those of others. It's mutual respect.
