About Ryan Fujiu
Hello, my name is Ryan Fujiu (pronounced Foo – Jew); Growing up in suburbia with a Japanese last name like Fujiu, you could imagine how many nicknames I had; Fujitsu, Fooled-ju, Fuj, Fu-ju-ju-bes, just to name a few. To this day, most of my friends still call me by one of these nicknames.
Anyways, I live in a small town called Lafayette, which is in Northern California’s Bay Area. I’m very passionate about both wine and marketing; so writing about them seems like a natural fit for me. I recently developed and launched Calwineries, a social network built around California Wine, and enjoy sharing what I’ve learned with others.
I just graduated from U.C. Berkeley with a degree in Biochemistry and a minor in Business. I took the April MCAT, and am looking into duel M.D./M.B.A. programs around the country. So if you have pull in admissions of these schools, please help me out.
