About Cameron Olthuis
I am a web strategy consultant with a strong background in search engine marketing, both paid and organic. In addition to search engine marketing I also have a focus on social media marketing and online reputation management. I am currently the Director of Marketing of ACS; I joined the company in March '06. Right now I also play a big role in the managing one of our startup products, Serph. Serph is a buzz-tracking tool that is primarily used for reputation monitoring but can also be used to find the buzz on anything happening right now.
I've been involved in online marketing since 2000 when I started my own business that I eventually sold and then moved onto consulting roles and client-side positions. I have worked with companies ranging in size from small businesses to Fortune 500 companies.
I was originally born in Canada and moved to the US when I was about 6. I grew up in Utah but lived other places including South Carolina and Montana. I am now living in San Diego, California. I've been married over 4 years now and have two girls, one 3 and one 11 months. Some of the hobbies I enjoy are skiing, hockey, surfing, poker, geeking out, wakeboarding, golf, and cars. I also enjoy spending time with family and traveling.
